Our Mission
At Our Fun Learning Centres we are on a mission to provide high-quality Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) to many children and families in Africa and globally. We use a Fun learning approach which is research-based. Finland inspires us to adapt to our context the child-centered play-learning approach used in the Finnish Early Education curriculum. However, we integrate the Ubuntu/Unhu-centred teaching and learning curriculum at Afrisomi Education Hub (AFEH) to foster a holistic transformative, and liberating knowledge. We are determined to make learning fun and joyful. Research has proved it works.

Reskilling/Upskilling and Staff Development:
Offering a diploma in Early Education: Become an Expert in Fun Learning Approach and Finnish style play-based approach by joining our online Educator training program. You can enroll at any time and learn at your own pace supported by a global community of motivated educators online. Fun Educators are crucial for children's learning.
Partner case: FLAM Kindergarten in Harare, Zimbabwe
We partnered with Masaisai Trust to establish the first Finnish-inspired FLAM: Fun Learning Kindergarten.
Partner Case Study: Upskilling/Reskilling Staff on Fun Approach from Finland. We are training the first group of Fun Educators in Zimbabwe, 8 teachers from Masaisai Primary School. They are training online. They have gone through the 6-month modules while implementing what they are learning in their classes.

Educational Visit to Finland:
We organize education visits to Finland and the Nordic for organizations, educators, schools, and groups interested in learning about Finnish educational practices for their Schools and Early Education.
Case Study
Afrisomi and SahWira Africa International NGO organized for The Zimbabwe Parliament Primary and Secondary Education Portfolio a Learning visit on Finnish Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Model and an Exchange visit to Finland and Sweden on 18 February to 3 March 2023. The Delegation of 4 parliamentarians, 3 Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education Ministry, and 1 staff from parliament. The delegation was led by Dr. Moyo the current minister of Education who was then The Chair of the Primary and Secondary Education Committee. We hosted them with our partners in Finland and Sweden: SahWira Africa International NGO and our partners in Finland.
